Todd- I am not a member of this floral group. I have thought about joining many times, but for one reason or another it hasn't happened. Mostly time.....

Richard- I know you love gardens....we have a lot in common. My problem with a garden here at home is we have no fences, so the deer come in and eat EVERYTHING! Sometime I will do a post about the little devils~!

Bubba- Thanks for adding me as an associate and subscribing also! You should do a post sometime about the Cheekwood botanical gardens....I look forward to it!

Shelia- Thankis for the nice comment on my phots. I take tons of photos so that I get a few really good ones!

Tanya- Landscaping is is a catch 22....it is so beautiful but a lot of work! You have to either keep it low maintenance or really enjoy spending the time it takes to keep it up. OR hire someone!

Greg- I have been experiencing tech difficulties with the Rain for a few days. I get so frustrated I just log off. I'm just waiting for the little gerbils on those wheels to catch their breath....then I will be back at it!

Hi Lori,

Yeah, it's been quite a mess around here for the last few weeks. Hopefully they'll straighten this all out soon so I can come back and post comments on your blogs without them being deleted! :)

Just came across this page of yours searching to see the Brookings Garden Club had a web page. Which I suspect they don't. If you are in touch with any of them, could you share that the arborist who once spoke to their group, and pruned pines in the triangle garden for them, found a new tree record with another guy.

4 new world's tallest pines. See:

http://www.mdvaden.com/pine_tallest.shtml

Didn't need a call back - just thought they might find it interesting.

Met them when living near Jacksonville, OR, and hanging out in Brookings. I'm in Beaverton now.

Thanks,

M. D. Vaden
