Get you some business cards and put them in the hands of everyone you meet. Have or make yourself a good brochure and mail it to everyone that you cannot give a business card to. If you do these two things your business will take off.

As you know Keller Williams offers new and "old" agents ongoing training take advantage of it!!!! Pick a small area to farm, maybe your neighborhood. Your title company will give you labels. send out a letter. a few weeks later walk the neighborhood. Remind people who you are and what you do for a profession. Consistencyis the key. Its not original, but it seems to be what works.

What social or sport group to you belong to? What Church do you attend? What hairdresser do you use? Where do your children go to school?

That should be a good start!

Shiwanda ... Welcome to AR .. I recommend that you spend lots of time with the people you respect ... and those you enjoy doing business with ... ask lots of questions and listen for answers ... take all free seminars you can handle .. find a partner to help with marketing ideas.  Nurture friendships.  Take time for coffee with a friend at least once a week.  Best wishes.  Harrison

Pop in on a friend you haven't seen lately or just some contact you'd like to bring your business to their attention.  Take with you a small (very small and cheap) gift that just says, "Thinking of You".I just went and picked apples last week, made up 10 small bags with 4 or 5 apples in each and left them at their home(I went during the day and didn't find anyone at home so I hung them on their front door).  Inside the bag was a hand written note and my business card.  This was a very cheap but thoughtful gift and they loved the thought.

Best wishes!

Pamela,  I love the idea of apples delivered to your friends.  What a great way to remind people about what you do!

Think about how much you can devote to an advertising budget.  It is important to promote your business.  Let the internet go to work for you.  We use Homegain's Buyer Link service.  Very affordable and a good way to manage your budget.
