Gas Prices for Smith Mountain Lake Virginia
I don't know about other parts of the country but our gas prices "Soared" yesterday afternoon on just the approaching Hurricane Ike in the Gulf Coast. We went from about $3.47 a gallon for regular to $4.99 in some places just within a couple hours. My husband went out to get milk and the supermarket (Shoprite) actually ran out of gas after its price jumping $.50 a gallon. Today Shoprite has gas and its only $3.99 a gallon for regular - the closest gas station to us is Diamond Hill and its regular gas is now 4.29 a gallon. Media is saying we will probably hit $5.00 this weekend! Is this craziness or what? Is your gas station Gas Gouging?
We might be going back to horse and buggy - don't let the them get your gas !!!!
