My First E-mail Newsletter

By
Real Estate Agent with Backyard Realty Group LLC

My first email newsletter is complete.  I'm pretty happy with it.  There are a few things I will change for next month but I wanted to get the September issue out.  Please feel free to look around on it and leave any pointers or comments on what you think.  You can also subscribe to it if you would like.  I look forward to reading your feedback on it!

Have a great weekend everyone!

"When I started out in business, I spent a great deal of time researching every detail that might be pertinent to the deal I was interested in making. I still do the same today. People often comment on how quickly I operate, but the reason I can move quickly is that I've done the background work first, which no one usually sees. I prepare myself thoroughly, and then when it is time to move ahead, I am ready to sprint."

Hey Jason . . .   well done.

What's the sales climate like in your "neck-of-the-woods?"

We still are seeing relatively high prices by our sellers who seem almost blind to the economic realities of this market.  It's basically a battle of wills at this point.

Thanks for your post.  Good luck in the future.

Aloha

Jim, Thanks for checking out my newsletter.  I feel we have the same problems right now.  With my listings there is particulary one where the seller does not want to lower...if they did it would sell.  I have noticed though that a lot of buyers are trying to get something for which they cannot.  Offers are being made WAY too low even for the market.  You just have to work with what you got!

Jason, looks good.  The older folks may want a little bigger font, but I like it.

Hi Jason, I think it has a nice sleek look; the only comment I would make is that the world is always in a rush and you have a lot of info in there.  It might be worthwhile to just have three or four news pieces.

Congratulations!  I think newsletters are a great marketing tool.  Your newsletter looks very professional.  This "old timer" :)  would also like the font to be a little bigger.

Very nice, Jason!

The main suggestion I have is to make this blog and your newsletter (and your website, if any) consistent in appearance.  Make your headers match or co-ordinate and use the same colors.  This, for example, is mostly pink and has a different header than the newsletter, which is mostly blue and has a house in the upper left.  Brand yourself!

Very impressive for a first time newsletter. Chock full of information. I had no idea that you guys in Georgia had the wonderful opportunity to shop at Trader Joes (TJs to us insiders). I do 80% of my grocery shopping at TJs here in Pasadena, CA. Their prices can't be beat for organic produce.
