One of my favorite neighborhoods, growing up on the east side was East English Village.  That was my idea of the type of home I wanted one day.  Now that I'm down here in Indianapolis, the closest neighborhood to East English is one called Kessler-Merridian.  It is an older neighborhood with brick homes, mature trees, english ivy and peaceful settings.

Thanks for the comment I know a lot of people out there could do just what you did and look at this. Thanks for the post! I think I know the area. I love the Boston Edison Dist. myself! I had family that ran business in this area, "way back when" This area still has great homes there. Here are a couple pictures.
