ON HIGHWAY 39 - WHEN YOU WANT IT FRESH.......
Stone and Barry County have been supplying fresh produce all summer to Shell Knob residentsand these local growers expect to continue to have a good supply of green beans , potatoes, cucumbers, okra, tomatoes, hot and sweet peppers, zucchini, squash and onions for sale at the Wednesday Farmers Market. They are located at the Lake Trip, on Hwy 39, and open from 8 a.m. till noon.
OLD CHURCH GALLERY
A second group of growers are also open Wednesday and located at the Old Church Gallery with their Outdoor Market. They feature all locally grown products. Farm fresh eggs, applke butter, fruit james and jellies, salsa and a limited supply of honey and honeycombs will be available. Honey is limited due to too much rain.
They will also have fresh garlic, horseradish and some flowering plants.
