Well, after a stormy pass of hurricane IKE it is cleanup time. We are SOOO thankful no one was hurt. There was absolutely no damage to our home or the majority of our neighbors. The power is back on after less than 48 hours without...which is amazing when you think of the SIZE of our city. I expected to be w/o power for DAYS. Below are pictures of our neighborhood men working together to clear the debris. Last night we had a big block party with steak, chicken and sausage filling the grill. The kids played, the adults chatted, and everyone had a good time catching up with each other. We are blessed!
