Re: Real Estate Designations

Have Real Estate Designations really improved your business??? CRS,GRI,ETC..... I am planning on taking my brokers exam soon in Arizona and was wondring what other designations you thought that actually improved your career. I am  firm believer in education but don't believe you need a title....just plain ol' good service and referrals. Any comments would be grateful.

CRS offers great courses that will add to your bottom line and give you tools to provide better service.

I agree with Teri, CRS is the best designation you can get. (plus they put my family on the cover of last month's magazine so I'm super happy with them!)  If it's important to the prospective client, you'll have "the goods". Also, some people do really well with their referral network.

The CRS designation has not only helped my business but the classes were amazing (lots to learn). I register in the CRS book every year and get about one lead per month. I am averaging 9 extra transactions a year. Do the math and decide

ABR is a great designation if you represent Buyers, and can be achieved fairly quickly even with the production requirement.  CRS is a great one to have, however has higher production requirements and several classes that are mandatory.

Don't forget to promote and explain whatever designations you decide to pursue once you have achieved them.  Highlight to the consumer the benefits of working with someone that holds the designation to improve your chance of being their choice!
