Anybody have any short sale experience with US BANK?  I just took a listing in which the 1st and 2nd is US BANK.  Are they easy to work with?  Any input would be greatly appreciated.

This is the first I have heard of US bank with a short sale. I would like to know how they respond too.

Eric - just got off the phone with you.  I have had a 6 month ordeal with US Bank in Portland.  Finally on April 1 2009 I got a phone call from my negotiator telling me the short sale was approved - but they would come after the seller for the deficiency.  I asked if they would require anything from him in writing because he will not sign a note he cannot repay.  They said no.  I have waited for 3 weeks now (calling everyday) to get an approval letter from them - finally today my Title Escrow Officer called and the negotiator sent a letter to her (not me) saying one of the conditions is that he sign a 5 year note for $200K at 6.6%.  He will not do that.  He is broke and can't pay it.  The Escrow Officer called and they said "no deal" without the note.   For petes sake why don't they just say this up front.  What a disaster.
