I really love Activerain!!!

BUT here is a activerain sponsor warning.

I signed up from an activerain sponsor called "Free Title Quote" For those of you who don't know me (yet) I am a marketing representative/vice president of a title company called United Title Agencies. I take pride on maintaining my relationships with Realtors and the Consumers. I always answer my phone, if I don't I always return your phone call in 10 mins. I build relationships for a reason and that is why I am successful in my field.

I have been calling, e-mailing, calling, e-mailing, calling etc and it could go on for ever, Actually 5 MONTHS! I have been doing this and NO ONE has called me back or e-mailed me back. They take out $20 a month on my credit card to send me leads from buyers/sellers who are paying the title insurance on the purchase of their new home. This company sends me the buyer/sellers information and I send them a quote and I battle it out with 5 competing title companies. Whoever quotes the best gets the deal. That's how it's SUPPOSE to work. So, for the past 5 months they have received there money, straight out of my account and I nothing.

Savanna, why don't you call the bank and tell them to stop payments.

Because it will cost me $35 every time it hits my account. OR I could go through the whole process and waiting for a new card if I open a new account.

Buyer beware!!! Don't use this company!

Any suggestions? I really could use some....Thank you for letting me vent I needed it!

If it is a credit card, rather than a debit card, you can call the credit card company and turn off the charge. I had something similar happen with an automatic payment through my checking, it was a mess getting it taken care of. Now, I always use a credit card.

Good luck getting it fixed!

The worse part is that even your own credit card company or bank treats you, like you are the one at fault and will do nothing for reoccuring charges

Terry I agree, the bank is just saying there is nothing they can do about it. So I would have to open a new account and shut that one down.

I did use a debit/credit card and that's the problem. I just don't understand how some people do business. Especially referral and word of mouth is how you get continued business. They not only lost my business but I am sure allot of activerains too.

Cancel your credit card. I've done that before. They can't charge a card that doesn't exist. I had a HUGE problem with a lead company that found me on activerain:) and it took 6 months of fighting them. Unless you hear multiple people say good things, trust no company!

Another trick that I have learned over the years is to write a letter to the president of the (bank, credit card co, moving company, etc... and copy whatever government agency oversees them. I was having a huge fight with a credit card company and did this. Two days later the issue was resolved.

Savanna, I love the picture of the dog, reminds me of an ex-mother-in-law. Anyway, I like Terry's approach. Make it worth their while to get rid of you. Report to BBB, tell them you talk to over 100,000 professionals everyday, etc... Best of luck. We don't need people like that or their leads.

I'm new to your blog, and I'm new to blogging, but I love the things you post, for they are absolutely great information.

But you couldn't be more right about some of these companies out here, they just bleed you for all your money, and your left holding the bag with little to no results.
