Carnival of Blogging Success - Let It Rain!

By
Real Estate Technology with Real Estate Tomato

Carnival2The inaugural edition of the Carnival of Blogging Success has been posted at the Real Estate Tomato.  Come on by and read some very inspirational accounts of success through blogging.

We had a great turn out from the ActiveRain crowd, and we even inspired a few new memberships just to participate.

I want to thank everyone who submitted an article, and congratulate those that made the Top 10.  Those bloggers that did make the list will be receiving 400 AR points as a reward.

The mission of the Carnival was to showcase the potential rewards of consistent and relevant blogging in the real estate industry.  Your voice not only wants to be heard, but needs to be heard.  You audience is looking for someone whom they can trust, and the blogging platform is the most convenient way to attract and engage them.

We were also looking to educate AR members on the positive benefits of joining various carnival circuits.  Carnivals are a great way to get in the habit of participation for greater readership.  The Real Estate Tomato is a frequent contributor to carnivals about Real Estate, Marketing and Business.  And, not coincidentally, we will be holding next week's Carnival of Real Estate which was started by Zillow's Blog a couple of months ago.  If you would like to participate in this carnival, follow the instructions on the official Carnival of Real Estate Blog.  The carnival is open to all real estate bloggers and can be about any real estate related topic you wish.  So this should be very appealing to all ActiveRain bloggers.  And, no, there will be no reward points... just great exposure to your voice.

And educate/inspire about Carnivals it did Jim! I submitted a very late entry to this weeks Carnival of Real Estate and was quite surprised when one of my posts was selected. I see Bryant Tutas of AR fame also made this weeks Carnival (and last week as well I believe!)

"Great exposure" in an understatement! Traffic to The Phoenix Real Estate Guy is EXPLODING today!

Thanks for pulling this Carnival together, and thanks for the edumacation on carnivals!

Congrats to all who made the Top 10!  I know Jim said this was a one time thing, but.... you never know....

Jim: Thanks for pulling this all together. You proved to be a great late-night and last-minute inspiration when you sent out the reminder email. I thought the carnival had already closed.

I was also tickled to hear from Maureen McCabe that it was I who inspired you to have this event in the first place--under the guise of Teresa Boardman. Or, as Maureen commented, did I win twice? LOL! I'll take credit wherever I can, but would really like to read Teresa's inspiration.

Thanks for a great event--but even more kudos for your great site and the information you so generously share with us all.

Jim,

I'll take the "honorable mention" any day of the week.  AR, The Tomato & such are really helping me get it together.  I look forward to many many years of good SEO.

Hope to talk to you soon.

Look out... the HH piece is almost done!
