There are many Fall Studio Tours and Shows in and around Uxbridge and beyond where you can browse get inspired or chat with the artists. Artistic people love to share their gifts and talents and truly enjoy your feedback and of course their works are for sale. It is a great time to do some pre-Christmas shopping for that unique piece for that hard to buy for person on your list.
It is a perfect time to spend some time in the country taking in the fall scenery. Make sure you bring your camera along as you just never know what scenic vistas you may wish you had a picture of as you drive back country roads through the hills and vales that surround the GTA. Visit some of the communities along your route to take in some fine fare from the local pubs and eateries.
Uxbridge - 23rd Annual Studio Tour Sept 20th and 21st 10 am to 6 pm
24 studios open their doors this year and with 57 different artist with a wide spectrum of art to view enjoy and perhaps even purchase. This is a great opportunity to meet and talk to the artists themselves, ";some of whom could be listed in the Who's Who of Canadian art "; As you browse through their studios and mingle with other studio visitors you can pick up on the sense of uniqueness that each artist presents, their love for their particular medium and their source of inspiration.

For those who are considering a move to the Uxbridge area it is a great opportunity to combine a little house hunting research with a wonderful opportunity to enjoy our fresh country air. This Saturday and Sunday Sept 20th and 21st we are holding some of our listings open so you can also get a feel for the various homes for sale in the area. Just follow the open house signs.

Presents 31 artists and artisans in 24 working studios and event Galeries for you to enjoy. Have a wonderful day in the country as you enjoy the tour and let the wonders of nature surround you as you pass by the lakes and streams, or stop for a moment in one of quaint towns along the route.
Stouffville - 8th annual Stouffville Studio Tour October 18th and 19th 2008
New to the tour this year are four new artists that include a wood turning artisan, a stonware,pottery and ceramic jewellry creator as well as 2 visual artist who work in watercollour, acrylics, charcoal and pastels

Scugog Fine Craft and Visual Art Exibition and Sale
While the Scugog artists and artisans have their studio tour in the spring they participate in the fall Showcase of the Arts as well. It is noteworty that visitors to the show voice an overwhelming approval offering praises for the volunteers, the gifted participants and the quality of their work as well as the reasonable prices.
