Granma Had One Antiques and Collectables

3028 S. Military Highway, Chesapeake, VA 23323

If you love to antique shop or collect oddities; this is the place for you!  I can not say enough!  And what a bargain!

From Metal Outdoor Furniture and Architectural Salvage to a scoop of antique buttons or a collectible Van Briggle, you will find it all at Granma Had One!  If you don't find it there Ed (the owner) will know where you should look!

My son and I spend over an hour last weekend digging through the shop.  Finally we left with a few goodies and plans to return soon!  Tyler found an antique tractor and I had to have a little bookshelf for the guest room.  The time before, I found a rough looking dirty old medicine cabinet to refinish and hang in my 1/2 bath.

I have some pictures!  You have to visit soon!  These pictures don't even touch the Thousands of Items that have been collected here, you have to see for yourself.  I will be shooting a virtual tour for the owner and will be happy to send you a link soon!  Just let me know via comment and I'll sent it!  Happy hunting!

OH...I love antique shopping! These pics are fabulous. This place reminds me of a little shop I used to visit often...until the owner passed away. I miss it. GBU!

As a Realtor, we know how important disclosure is!!!  I have to disclose, This is my FATHER's shop and that is my son!  Also, I wrote this from a customers point-o-view because I am his #1 customer.

Coeur d'Alene, Idaho - City by the LakeAnna, I love shops like this.  There is always some great little treasure to be found.  I love the Name.  Every time I go through an Antique store I inevitably say "My Grandma had one like this"  Great Localism story.

Your son is adorable.  He reminds me of my youngest when he was that age.

Also, thanks for commenting on my Post!

I have a list of antique shops that I have visited, and shops that I want to visit. I shall have to put this on the latter list. I've learned not to go to the French Quarter in New Orleans during business hours. LOL Thanks.
