A Top Producing Real Estate agent in Perry Hall, Maryland and surrounding areas (Baltimore County & Harford County) is seeking a LICENSED part time personal assistant to aide in the day to day duties of the real estate business. It is highly likely that this position will eventually turn into a full time position. Duties may include but are not limited to:

* Answering phone calls while in office
* Following up to make sure appraisals, inspections, loan commitments, etc... are up to date and on time for closing
* Meeting with clients to sign listing agreements
* Entering NEW listings into the MLS system
* Creating Flyers for properties listed with agent
* Following up weekly with all clients and/or as needed
* Following up with agents who have recently shown listings
* Attending inspections, appraisals, settlements, etc...
* Designing and turning in various advertisements on time
* Meeting with Buyers to sign contracts and/or get missing initials needed
* Turning in various contract paperwork as required by broker for processing
* Prospecting for New Business

Qualifications

* MUST HAVE A VALID MARYLAND REAL ESTATE SALESPERSONS LICENSE
* Must have Own Transportation
* Must have a Cell Phone
* Must have some basic working computer knowledge (will train)
* Must be Highly Organzied and Detail Oriented
* Must be a Strategic Thinker
* Must have Basic Marketing Knowledge
* Must have the Ability to work independently
* Must be Self Motivated
* Must have Excellent Communication Skills (oral and written)
* Must be good working with difficult and high stress situations
* Prior Real Estate experience is a HUGE PLUS!

Michael -

You might consider hiring a Virtual Assistant for some of the administrative tasks you mentioned above. Although my team works as unlicensed assistants, we assist several agents in the Maryland and Virginia area with their unlicensed assistant activities including tracking closings from contract to close.

I would second the virtual assistant recommendation.  You may still need a licensed assistant for attendance at inspections, etc. but a virtual assistant can efficiently (and usually at a savings) handle the administrative tasks.

I'll bet you will have plenty of responses as long as you pay not based on commission. I have heard there are a few agents out there not doing so well. Good luck.
