I'm curious to know about the person behind the stager/realtor. We exchange ideas and bits and pieces of ourselves through our blogging. I'd like to know more about you!

I'll start

Currently I'm a SAHM/WAHM in Kingston, Ontario, Canada - to my 3 kids. Kyriana is 3, and Jacob and Mitchell are almost 17 months. We recently moved back to my home town due to a job offer my husband received, and the ability to be closer to family. Prior to this, I spent the last 10 years working as a Social Worker. I've always had a passion for decorating and anything creative. I've been staging homes (before I really knew what it was called) for a few years now for family and friends. After moving to this city, I decided I wanted to pursue this full time, and thus Dressed For Success was born. I've been actively marketing myself for about 4 months now.

Hello Alyse,

My name is Matt Meli. I live in Detroit, And I am a Realtor/Investor. Before I became a Realtor I was in the Marines for four years. I was a part of the Marine security force team. After getting out of the Marines I worked for Sara Lee as a sales rep. I am married and I have a 10 year little girl. Her name is Layna. I also have a son coming Aug. 17th of this year. We plan to name him Marcello. I love my job. I think it is the networking I love most. Good post I have wondered about others life's. Good to see we still slow down enough to say, hi!

Hi Alyse, what a great idea. I'm married to a Norwegian, have a 32 year old son from my first marriage and two adorable (of course they are) grandchildren. I live in Florida and have been flailing about in the business world, not really knowing what I wanted to do when I grow up here in Florida, till recently. Thus STAGE it RIGHT! was born. My passion is "arranging" stuff so home staging is a perfect venue. I dabbled in it for many years, as an outcropping to a home improvement businesses , so I am now using my years of experience to "improve" the homes of my clients. You have beautiful children! How do you home stage and take care of little ones? The sum total of my family obligations are one husband, one dog (the last of nine) and 5 cats! All easy keepers.
