I Wanna Go Fishing!

By
Home Inspector with Cartier Fine Home Inspections, LLC

I saw on the news tonight where the Alligators are waking up. The temperature of the water is getting warmer and warmer. My fishing license is starting to itch in my wallet. Last year Ginnie gave me a Pier Cart for Father's Day and it is fixing to come out of hibernation. I can smell the Gulf salt air as I talk about it. Get my drift?

Every "Good" Home Inspector ought to take a day off and go fishing. I enjoy surf fishing and fishing off piers. It won't be long before the Spanish Mackerel will be running. My wife's parents have a place in Panama City, Florida and I need to go for a fishing visit. A great place to go is the St. Andrews State Park fishing pier. the water is so beautiful and clear. I have some good times there.

Have you Guys and Gals got a good fishing spot in your area. Tell us about it. Forget Home Inspecting for a few minutes.

Hey, I like to fish.  We have 3 excellent fishing large lakes and several smaller ones.  Crappie are biting right now and the bass are waking up.

Jerome, if you want to become a fresh water guy, the Corps of Engineers lakes (Grenada, Enid, Sardis, and Arkabutla) in N. Mississippi are among the country's best for slab crappie.  Good bass fishing, and if you like pan fish, the way the weather has been, they may be bedding on the full moon this month....next month at the latest.  These lakes have smallmouth, plenty of catfish, and stripers.  Not to mention the tasty and fiesty little yellow bass.  Load up the boat, and come on up!
