Don't know much about blogging - please help

By
Real Estate Agent with Lyon Real Estate
I have been a real estate agent for the last 7 years and a credentialed teacher for the last 20; I know nothing about blogging except that it is quite the rage.  I would like to use it as a vehicle to educate people in the Fair Oaks, CA area about the real estate market, community activities, school reports etc.  I would love help in getting me started. What do I do; what can I expect?

Becky, welcome a board. A lot of the posters on AR had never done this before including myself. You're going to love it and get addicted real fast. My suggestion is just be yourself. Write what you know about. And most importantly, just go for it! Everyone has to start somehwere. So post away! I will look forward to reading what you have to share. Read this it may help

You are doing it, Becky...just be yourself and think of things people need to know...and maybe some things they DON'T need to know....hehehehehe

Just take a look at some blogs and get some inspiration from their examples..... you are a teacher...good examples are a great thing, hmm?

You look like a professional who values class and style...i bet you give top notch service to your clients too! I am adding you as an associate I would give referrals to, Becky...and welcome to AR! :-)

Becky, just jump in. Start reading some the top blogs to get ideas that are flying thru here. AR actually has "blog suggestion button" when you post to get some ideas there. Good luck and welcome to AR.
