I deleted an old post today. Frankly, I hope most of you never saw it, and none of you remember me for it. It wasn’t really THAT bad, but it wasn’t something that I wanted to influence peoples’ impressions about what kind of person I am.
Jonathan Greene recently called this a 'virtual billboard'. Well, if it is that, it’s a virtual billboard with an awfully long memory. Once you put something “out there” you never know who is going to read it or where it is going to show up.
I want to be recognized for the quality of my contributions, not the quantity. For me, it’s really very important that I add value to this community, because I am getting so much from it that I want to show my appreciation in return. THAT is what I want people to know about who I am. Sometimes I am too quick to type ‘guave’, and put something out that doesn’t really say what I want it to say.
So, thank you, delete button for helping me to repair a few little mistakes along the way.
