With all of the great economic and real estate news out there, I thought I would make my first blog post about enjoying Maui versus real estate. My wife, Carla, would tell you that I don't take enough time for myself...I'm working on it. As a Realtor, time management can be a challenge. It is something I constantly strive to improve.
To that end, I took my birthday off, kidnapped the family and went on a snorkel / sail excursion. I had the perfect excuse, one of my old college friends, Glenn Becker, is the captain of the boat. So last Tuesday we drove up to Ka'anapali and jumped on the Kapalua Kai, a 50 foot Catamaran. Our destination as Honolua Bay, a marine reserve, and coincidentally one of the best surf spots in the world. Since there wasn't any surf, our day involved snorkeling with the kids, a nice meal, taking in the beautiful weather / scenery and NO ANSWERING MY CELL PHONE!
There are so many things to do on this island, I could probably take a year off and still not enjoy them all. As a full time Realtor and father, I'll have to do it a day or two at a time.
I am sure my brother Pete will post a picture or two on the www.MauiRealEstate.com/blog.
