I have to say, I have only been a part of this for a short time. I have found that the networking on this site is one of the best. I spent a lot of time here posting and reading blogs. I have asked some good questions and have found that the members are very helpfull. If I do something I am not suppose to do, people take the time to write me and let me know.

I just wanted to see what other people think. I have wondered why people do not post pictures with the blogs? I am still learning what to do here but have fallen hard for this site.

Active Rain is GREAT! But don't let it take up too much of your day.

Remember to make those calls, follow up with prospects, schedule appointments, etc. I've met some great people on this site, some that I currently do business with.

It's a great place to turn to for questions and answers at times.

Ditto - I'm enjoying it too - but it is addicting. It will be interesting to see what others say. Are you asking about photos in the body (part you write) or in the response (part we write)?

I actually just put a photo in a comment -long story.

I think people may not put photos for 2 reasons:

1) they're new and may not know how or

2) they're aware of copyright laws and don't have photos they can post and haven't purchased any from sites to supplement. I've been building up my photo library and now take photos with blogging in mind so since you asked I'm going to include one here - feel free to delete if you don't think it's appropriate...

Welcome to Active Rain! Yes, it is addicting but you can learn so much here. Pretty awesome really. I've made some great friends here.

As far as your question, I think that there are tons of newer people here and they just haven't figured out the whole photo thing yet.

In response to the question about not posting pictures, this is still a pretty new medium to real estate professionals. Not many of us have huge stores of pics to throw into a post. In addition to that, I would also be asking why many posters don't throw in hyperlinks to other articles or materials.

As a little bit of advice, my blog pops on the first page of Google's organic (non-paid) search for SE Michigan Real Estate. The reason it does, frankly, is content and context.

Content being what the blog and the majority of its posts center on and context being supporting articles and opinions from across the intarweb. As the search engine spiders crawl across this blog and others, they weigh the content and context to value the relevancy against search terms.

As for photos, here is Serious Cat.
