Are you Using Relay Transaction Management?

By
Real Estate Agent with Blanchard and Calhoun Real Estate/ Wilson Parker Homes

Is anyone out there using Relay Transaction Management System? I live so far out and gas has gotten so expensive that I recently purchased and started using this online Transaction Management system.....But then I needed to be able to fill in and execute contracts so I had to purchase ZIP Form, on line as the Broker I work for uses a different system. I am finding even after my webinar, that it's got quite a bit to it, and simplify my life and system it doesn't.  Or maybe I just need to make more time on their time to learn about it!!

I prefer to use transactionpoint from Fidelity Title -- the document management features are powerful

I love Relay, it does take some getting used to , but their tech support is great and take advantage of the free online classes they offer.   I can't live without it now, and there is a lot more that I haven't even figured out yet.  My closer automatically gets an invitation to the transaction when I add her, and I don't have to fax or copy docs to her anymore.

Also, I upload the seller disclosures to the transaction, and if an agent calls me for a copy of the disclosures, I can just email or fax them right from my phone!

Although I am a zipforms user, I don't really use them together, because I typically won't upload the PA's until they are signed by all parties.  Sometimes I upload an offer just signed by a buyer, if I want to be able to email it right from Relay.

It does take time to upload everything, but I feel that it saves me a ton of time later, because I rarely have to copy or refax documents again - I can send them from Relay, or the partys to the transaction can help themselves and print the forms right from Relay if they need to.

Hang in there, I think you will love it!

Marie, Thanks for commenting on my blog about our new logo.  We use Relay and prefer it to Transaction Point because of the download speeds. It is also a little easier to create a disc when the transaction is complete.

Just today Relay saved me - a client called to see if I had the phone number to his homeowners association -he didn't have it with him -  from  a transaction that I closed over a year ago.  I was at home, but I quickly pulled up relay and found the condo docs with the association name and number - saved me from digging through paper files, that were at my office!  I then refreshed his account so he could access it himself.  Yeah Relay!

I do everything myself, which really is limited to setting up a transaction and faxing or uploading to Relay, but I am sure some offices have a transaction manager who does this.  It does take some time, so this is definately one of the first things I would assign to an assistant (if I had one!)

HI- I purchased it myself, but for only $149.00 per year, I feel it is money well spent.  If you order it, makes sure you utilize the training sessions.

i am a coordinator for several different offices and relay said it was agent specific so my license etc would be the agent showing on the forms. has anyone been able to get around this? or do you know of any software that allows for  professinal coordinator?
