It made my day today when someone told me they had read this blog and taken the 30-minute challenge from my last blog post. She had been putting off one thing that seemed overwhelming, but when attacked with 30-minute daily purpose, she has been successful. Coaching is about changing lives and that is truly a life change for this person.
You can make your own day by doing something that changes your business. It is not about what you know, but about what you DO. That is one of the simplest truths around. And the thing about truths is that they are TRUE! Knowing is important. Get educated on the market in your local area. Research scripts and become familiar with your local real estate facts. Then, go out and find some clients.
If you call past clients and other people you know and ask them if they are ready to buy or sell real estate, and they ask you a question you don't know the answer to....guess what???? You can say, "I'm not sure right now, but I can find the answer." If you do what you say you will do and call them back with the answer, you just might pick up an approved and motivated client.
You have the power to change your life by taking action. The present market is not one where waiting for business is very effective. You have to do something to generate business. Make phone calls. Knock on doors. Ask for business. Learn the new loan details. Find the possibilities. Go after it. Make it happen.
It made my day to contribute something that worked for someone else. You can make your day by getting out there and finding business. Success in this market requires focused action.
