Hi all,
Kevin finished his first round of Chemo on Wednesday and is now just home to re-cover from it so he can start the second round. He will be going to the doctor for regular check-ups but it will be 2-3 weeks before he goes back for more chemo considering nothing goes wrong(fever, blood cell count, etc.). Kevin has been feeling good up until last night. He got sick in the car and then was up all night with severe back pain(he was saying it was hurting in his bones). I am sure that is one of the effects from the shots he has been getting in his back to treat his spinal fluid and brain fluid with chemo. I think the next round he will be getting the shunt put in his noggin, so hopefully he will not have this kind of back pain next time around. He has noticed that his hair on his head and face is falling out(if he pulls on it, it just comes out fairly easy), I told him not to pull it or he might have permanent bald spots when it grows back inJ. Thank you for all your prayers and support, It is going to be a long road ahead!!

(Saturday)Kevin is not getting better with his pain in his back and head and he has blisters in his mouth so the doctors sent him to the hospital for some tests. His pain in his back is so bad he can't really sit up and he is having a hard time eating anything. Please keep him in your prayers. When I talked with him the other day he sounded so down and that is so not like him.
Thanks,
Lisa Long
