"National HGTV Reality Show Visits Detroit"
HGTV show "My House is Worth What? To Film in Detroit with Local Realtor/Homeowners
Metro Detroit, MI September 16, 2008. A National Cable Network will film footage in the Metropolitan Detroit area with local realtor, Joy Santiago and several homeowners to showcase some of the tri-county area's finest real estate.
Pie Town Productions, a TV production company for Home and Garden Television (HGTV) is coming to Detroit film segments for "My House is Worth What?" a reality TV show about home values around the country.
"This is very exciting for Metro Detroit", says Joy Santiago, who is will be the real estate expert for the segments. "It will give us an opportunity to show off some of the most beautiful homes in the area and to reveal to the nation that things are great in Michigan. The owners of the homes are dynamic people as well."
Four homes and their owners will be featured: An interior designer/and hair salon Owner in Southfield; a Detroit real estate developer and two engineers who reside in Detroit's Historic Indian Village, and a Health Care Executive who lives in an upscale loft in Royal Oak. "I'm enthused about being able to showcase my home." Says Rodney Howell, owner of Hairshion Salon in Southfield. "It's great to see our region showcased in a bright light."
HGTV and Pie Town Productions will be filming one homeowner per day for 4 days, Thursday September 18, 2008 thru Sunday September 21st, 2008.
