As another year rolls by this ever changing market leaves me with the feeling of needing to know more knowledge. This past year foreclosures seemed to abound. It was a learn as you go process. Now another turn in the market seems to be the move to list short-sales. In the past short-sales had very little success of being sold. The banks were so difficult to work with that the sellers gave up and allowed their home to go into foreclosure. As banks now begin to realize it is more ecconomical to assist their clients sell their home than go to foreclosure, agents are finding more short-sale homes actually make it to the closing table. It is essential for agents to understand the process of short-sales and learn with the changing market.
