It's only been a little over a week since the administration decided to throw $200 billion into this Tornado to bail out Fannie Mae and Frddie Mac - Now this week they want to throw in another $700 billion to rebail out these same mortgages and more. And they want to do it with no accountability! WOW - That's amazing. They also want Paulsen to oversee it all. This is the same bunch that has been on the job for 8 years and didn't see the train coming.....they CANNOT fix this. They are trying to scare us again into more of their idiotic schemes. Think - people think!
Everyone needs to sit back and take a breath. There is a Presidential Election in 6 weeks. What is the big hurry to get this done before the election. There needs to be something done quickly and responsibly and it does not have to cost the American Taxpayers a TRILLION dollars. So, let's put together a bipartisan think tank of people that really understand what happened and what direction needs to be taken to act quickly and do whatever needs to be done immediately and then sit tight until after the election and let the next administration decide the finality of it all.
How is socialism at the top different than socialism at the bottom? We need to get this country back on track with the balance of powers and accountability. It cannot be run from the Executive Branch alone. The people and institutions that helped create this mess need to be held accountable to fix it. We are not set up to bail out world banks at the cost of the American Taxpayer. So much for Free Enterprise with no regulation.....think.....
This country cannot survive with the hate mentality that I see on the streets everyday. I have never seen this nation as divided as it is today. We have to think and lead - not follow blindly. We need to be able to debate without being attacked. Remember the Civil War and pre Nazi Europe. Hate has no place here in this great country. If we are going to solve this great castastrophe - it is going to have to be a joint solution. The World is changing and we have to move forward - together.
