Has technology worked for you, or against you?

This is my first attempt at blogging and as I research the many blogs of Active Rain I start to understand more and more.

For my first post, I would like to discuss one of the many technology options that are available to us as realtors. For marketing, lead generation, and now even a web based tracking system that takes all of the micromanagement, and tiring/repetitive follow up calls off our plates!

Wouldn't it be great if there was a system that utilized real estate/mortgage industry professionals who have been tested, have experienced, and have a vast knowledge of  what causes our real estate sales to fall apart?! Wouldn't it be great if, as a realtor, you could be advised that your purchase will hit a proverbial wall before it does, to be able to overcome that obstacle before your sale is delayed? Imagine our client reaction to that kind of customer service and the loyalty that would be created!

What if there was a system to track the everyday checklists of things that we, as realtors have to do, to guarantee our closings happen? Instead of doing these things ourselves, we could spend more time marketing, prospecting/lead generating, finding new listings, signing more purchase agreements, and selling more homes?!! What if?
