If you are looking do to something this weekend with your pet, come to Cromwell, Ct. The Cromwell Animal Control is hosting their 5th Annual "Pets on Parade" fundraiser, this forthcoming Saturday, September 27th from 10am to 2pm at Pierson Park on West Street.
Come bring your cat or dog.. dress them up and walk them around the park.
The AKC will be there for Canine Good Citizen Testing. You'll be able to play Red Light, Green Light, Musical Paws and so much more. Think of the fun your dog or cat could have. Micro chipping will also be available at the donation of $25.00.. So you never have to worry about your pet again.
The fee is $20.00 per person and for a family the cost is $30.00. All proceeds go to the Raising Special Needs Pet Fund. This is to cover the costs that are over and above what is budgeted. For example, some of these funds cover emergency surgeries, neutering, spaying, etc.
