Hello All! This is my first attempt at Blogging....wish me luck. I have been reading a lot of different Blog sites to see what to talk about, that is my biggest fear...finding something of interest.
REFERRAL! I became a member of By Referral Only about 2 years ago and I have learned so much. One of the biggest assets that I have in my business today is referrals. The quality of a client that has been referred is so much more than that of someone who hasn't been. Working with someone who wants to work with you, that already trusts you because someone they trust, referred you, is a rewarding opportunity.
Real estate sales people, dentists, car mechanics, car salesmen, veterinarians, chiropractors, day care providers...no matter what industry you are in, you need referrals. How do you get them? Many of us make the mistate in thinking that because we are doing a good job, or are easy to work with or are knowledgeable in the industry, would be sufficient enough to deserve a referral. No so! Ever hear the saying, "If you ask, you shall receive?" When was the last time you asked for a referral? If you put somebody on the spot with the direct question, "Who do you know that could use my help?" they will usually rack their brain to think of someone, anyone, at least one person. Especially if you tell them you need their help.
Let's all work on this and watch what happens! Ask and you WILL receive!
