Bonita Beach

Just in case you're some place with icky weather or if you once lived here and haven't seen this in a while.

This is beach access #2 on Hickory Blvd.  Parking is free if you can get it, there's just a few spots and they go quickly.  It's worth it to try to find one.

Today a storm rolled in and for the first time in my life the storm went around my part of the beach.  Looks like I finally shook off that dark cloud.

There are over a dozen free parking beach accesses plus both Collier and Lee offer state and county parks in the area.

See you at the beach!

Wow...what a wicked picture! The clouds look like there's a hint of leftover sun trying to still peek through....I hope you got a parking spot :)

Chris - glad to see that the storms have gone around your part of the beach. Hopefully the real estate storms have gone around you as well, and that all is now uphill.

What an awesome picture, Chris!  There's nothing more relaxing than sitting on the beach looking up at the sky as your ears are soothed by the sounds of the ocean.

Beautiful photo, Chris. I didn't get near our beaches today - usually do most days, so this was especially buce to see.

We are having a great stretch of weather here but I am guessing in a couple of months I will be looking for a break on the beach.

Beautiful shot.  A good escape from all the terrible scenes on our Texas coast right now.

I love the photo. Of course, half the time I think I read blogs just for the photos =) And I haven't seen any posts from you lately. Am I just missing them, in my attempt to read everything here, or have you been on hiatus?

Chris, When I lived in California the beach was always my escape.  There is something so special about looking out at the vast horizon while hearing the repetitious soothing sounds of the waves, the sea gulls.  You are so lucky!
