I have several clients who are investors and have suddenly become very hesitant to buy real estate. They have shifted out of the stock market and money market to try to get a better return on their money. They are now feeling that the houseing market is not a stable investment. I know there are good deals to be made. How do I convince my investors of this? They wanted to make the shift with there investments but what impact is this credit crisis going to have on real estate investments?

I suggest you sit down with them and show them on paper how historically real estate has been the safest investment. Then show them that if they are buying properties for 20% under current market value, even if the market goes down a little more that unless they are planning to resell the property in the next year they have nothing to worry about, just hold it until the market rises.
Not very risky, it isn't like a house you invest in can go out of business, unlike a stock in a company.
Welcome to the rain and hope to see you around,

Write often, and write whatever comes to mind. Blogs about personal topics and non-real estate items are often the best. It helps your readers to bond with you, and ends up bringing you a lot of business!
