Is There Enough Time in a Day?

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Real Estate RS151669

How do you do it all?  I have been an "active" active rain member for a while now.  I have also joined linkedin and twitter, in addition to being on myspace.  I have decided that I can not do it all, plus run my business.  Computers are very user friendly these days.  However, you can get sucked into these websites and send all day there.  I have been trying to focus my efforts on linkedin and active rain.  I have not joined facebook yet.  And I have joined Twitter with the intentions of using it, but I have not.  I am afraid that I will join facebook and not have the time to devote to it.

Hi Carol ... the simple answer to your question is NO ... there is not enough time in a day.  I cannot do it all ... I guess we have to prioritize.

Marie is right, you can't do it all. Don't even set yourself up for disappointment. Sounds like what you have now is enough, facebook will just have to survive without you. Doing at great job at a few things is way better than doing an ok job at a bunch of things.

NO way can you do it all. I am constantly stressing and trying to be super woman. But it never happens

Ditto -- I've joined Twitter and LinkedIn but the amount of time required to do them right along with AR is prohibitive.  I've focused on AR for right now. ~ Evelyn

I have been thinking about the same thing.  I would rather concentrate on a couple of web based networking opportunties and then spend time on other areas of my business plan to generate business.  There are just too many sites to be effective on all of them.

Yes these services are time consuming. I as well struggle with the time factor as I write 3 blogs as well as facebook linkedin and others. Balance for me is achieved by not dedicating equal amounts of time to all. In fact there are several groups that I belong to just for the link love choosing to visit these sites only for an occassional update.

I also have changed my business model choosing to stay by the computer for the bulk of my day viewing properties online, corresponding to emails etc. vs running all over town looking at properties.
