In today's market I am finding that sellers are refusing to cave in and buyers are not buying into the trend that the media has declared a financial disaster. I am finding that sellers would rather sit on their listings than to take a financial beating from a buyer that is trying to cash in on the media hype.
Although the media hype to some degree has created a bad market, and they want to blame the current administrations in Washington DC, I am really only finding unqualified and somewhat ignorant buyers trying to buy. I think the current market is going to stay as is until spring. It may pick up after the elections, but as we all know, with the holidays, (I will not omit the word "Christmas" or "Thanksgiving" for the politically selective) coming up, we should start seeing a growth after the inaugurations.
