Deep in slumber at 4:00am HAWAIIAN ISLANDS TIME the phone rings. By the second ring I wake up to actually know that I wasn't still dreaming. Then I bark out loud (asking no one in particular), "What the hay"? I scramble to answer the phone and seemingly miss the call. I check the 'recent incoming calls' and see that it is a long distance number.
GRRRRRRR.
We already know what this call is. A telemarketer that left no message and did not take into consideration the time zones.
I get back to sleep in 10 minutes and at 5:15am I wake to the coffee brewer beeping that it's time for us to get up and drink a cup of that freshly brewed coffee.
After showering and getting ready I plop in my chair in front of my pc (hubby already turned both ours on) with the cup of coffee (that Gary made for me too :).
I search for THAT number in google and whitepages.com. No luck. I call the number registered on my phone.
A recording of Countrywide in NEW JERSEY.
I hang up... and ponder upon the same question that pops in my head when this happens time and time again.
Don't these people take into consideration that we are SIX hours behind them on the east coast?
PLEASE have some respect for others and their time zones for each number you are selfishly plugging away into your phone.
