When will this change?

Hello Everyone!

Is it just me that is wondering what is going on in the world today? I know I am young but I have never seen a market quite like this one.

There are too many of us Realtors for one, and the banks own everything!!

It is disheartening to see all these families losing thier homes. Young families with "creative" loans to buy a first home are having to leave and squeeze themselves into whatever they can find or afford. Older people who have to walk away from the homes they have lived in for years because thier loans have changed and they can't afford the payments anymore.

There are so many scenarios but it is world wide. It is scary.

Maybe with the elections things will change but it takes time to see change so how long do we have to wait for some relief in this market?

Christine, it is easy to be fearful when it seems like the whole world is about to collapse.  However, I see the market as re-adjusting itself, just like it did 20 years ago when I first started in real estate.  In a year or two, when this all shakes out, homes will be more affordable for families who need them.  That is the bottom line, although it takes a while to get there, and some bumps along the way!
