Here's how...
- Select Format > Sheet > Background from the menu.
- Find the image you want and click Open to select it.
- The image will tile to fit the worksheet.
Did you know you can change your cursor's default direction when you press the Enter key in a cell?
By default Excel moves the cursor to the next row and cell below the currently selected cell.
To change this:
Select Tools > Options from the menu and click on the Edit tab.
Select the drop-down list titled "Move Selection after Entry" to change the direction that occurs when you hit Enter.
This is a very handy one...
Did you know you can enter more than one line of data in a cell?

Here's how...
- Select the cell to enter data and type something.
- When you've finished entering data press and hold the Alt key and press the Enter key. This places a new line inside the cell. Now you can type another line of date. Very useful for addresses.
- If you don't want line breads, you can have multiple lines in a given cell is by clicking cells from the Format menu.
- Click on the Alignment tab and enable Wrap Text.
- Entering data wider than the column width will then wrap on the next line.
