Do you know anything about a texting search called cha cha (?)

My 9th grader was playing around on his cell phone, said someone told him about this cool place called cha cha (or something like that) where you can text a person's name, then in a few minutes you will get a response about what that person does and where they live.  While we were driving, he was entering names to see what the response would be.  A few of his friends came back as professional athletes because of the same names which he thought was pretty funny.  Then he entered my name and waited a minute.  the response came back that I was a professional real estate agent, had brown hair and was very pretty.  WHAT??????????  How creepy is that?  Doesn't sound like a bit of information a computer would spit out.  Raised a big red flag in my head.

I did a google image search of my name and my photo does show up at the top of the search page.  I am just thinking that I need to do a little due diligence about this latest craze among my kid's group. Can anyone enlighten me?

UPDATE-

I found their website, www.chacha.com.  Here's what they say.  Hmmmm.

With ChaCha, when you've got questions, we've got the answers. And every month, we're asked millions and millions of questions from everyday, normal queries to some that are completely out of the ordinary. And because our questions are answered by humans, not computers, we have as much fun answering our customers' questions as they have asking us!

I guess what has me worried is the "fun" some of these chacha humans could have with their answers, with a kid on the other end of the phone.  Am I overly concerned?

That IS creepy. I haven't heard of that but will check back for answers as well as doing a little digging on my own.

Never heard of that - scary.   I know that you can text to Google (googl) and ask anything and get a complete answer back in a text, it is like the internet, well, I guess it is the internet.  Duh.

I actually applied for a part time position with Cha Cha...something I could do from home to fill in the blanks until real estate picks up. Basically, Cha Cha is a search engine powered by people. The position I applied for was a Cha Cha Guide. What would happen is that I would receive a text message or email with a question that someone had asked. As  a guide, it would be my job to find out everything I could on the internet to answer the question and reply as fast as humanly possible. Their forte is suppose to be fast answers. The example given was, for instance, you're in a debate with someone about who hit the most home runs in the 1972 World Series. The question goes to a Cha Cha guide who then responds with an answer.

I don't think it's anything to worry about...but with kids, you can't be too careful.

No you're not overly concerned. Big Brother has been here for a couple of decades, and withe the Internet, 9/11, and the Bush Administration's bastardization of the Patriot Act, it's only a matter of time before "free" information on all of us will be collected and used "for the good of the people." China already does it, and when our government defaults on its $10 trillion of debt and China buys us out, well, I hope I'm dead by then.
