Canyon County Idaho ranks 39th in the Nation for growth between 2000-2006

Canyon County made the news in March of 2006 by adding nearly 42,000 new residents between 2000 and 2006 which ranked Canyon County 39th in the Nation for growth between 2000 and 2006. Canyon County has been my home for my entire life and it there are many reasons it continues to be the home of new residents.

It was also reported recently that for the first time Boise, the capital of Idaho lost population while Canyon County and specifically Nampa and Idaho saw their population increase.
