I use the RE/MAX program they offer. It's $35 a month and great for drip campaigns, monthly news letters, and it's an on-line database so if my computer crashes I won't lose my client info. But I am interested in changing over to either TopProducer or ACT. Before I make the switch, I wanted to get your opinion on what works best for you and why?
Hi Michael -
In the past Mike Selvaggio has done Ninja coaching in Green Bay. He's had good results with Respond. I've been using Top Producer 7i, and had mixed feelings about it. My entire office is now switching to 8i. I think that having an internet version is good, but Top Producer 8i seems better suited to personal/small office use, not for a large group usage (much too slow & clunky). Feel free to contact me with any specific questions that you may have.
Regards
Have you seen the new RE/MAX software? It's better than the original and only $24mth.
Jill- I'll have to check out Respond, I'm not familiar with that program. Thanks for the advice.
David- Are you talking about the new version of Leadstreet?
We used a customizable database from Intuit called Quickbase. We enjoy it because it can be customized and used and expanded in various ways. There is a cottage industry of programmers who can customize the program, which is encouraged by Intuit. Given the ease of use and flexible programming, I would never go back to ACT and other database programs.
Michael, I use Sharper Agent. $29 per month I believe. I know several that use Wise Agent as well:) Looking forward to dinner in your new condo at the Westin, lol.
I use outlook and I think it has as many features as top producer. If you have to write your own letters what difference does it make? Outlook has a nice calendar and you can set all your dates and reminders on there.
Saralou- Thanks for the advice, and I noticed the same thing regarding agents that don't use it...not sure how they do it, or why. I know I'd be in trouble if I didn't use some sort of contact management.
Eau- I know several agents that use Outlook, and they think it's great. This might be the most economical way to manage my cliental
Michael, a timely post for me personally. Finally we are ready to buy a CRM. I have been researching them for years. When I ask people who have Top Producer what they use, turns out they only use it for a data base. Do you use the action plans? I need better follow up with prospects. It's too easy for them to fall through the cracks. Does Outlook have that? Or would you create your own action plans from your knowledge of Top Producer? What about Agent Office and Advantage ix? I have been hearing alot about Advantage lately.
I have used them all and recently switched over to Advatage Xi - it totally blows all the others away.
Not much of a learning curve - Mark Stepp has done a great job and has been around for a long time - Mark does listen to his clients and makes changes and improvements almost weekly - I would HIGHLY suggest you check it out.

We have been using top producer for years and it is great. I just started using the new 8i version and it works great.

Personally I think when my contract with Top Producer is done I'll switch to agent office. For years I used the Remax version (Agent 2000) and loved it. I'm just not happy with TP. Agent office is much easier to use and more functional. I tried the Wise Agent demo as well as the MS Outlook add on. I still like Agent Office the best.
I've looked at Top Producer 8i and it's good, with good support.
Pat Zaby is going to be in Greensboro, NC in August so I 'm going to check out his class. I'm told that he has some other products that tie in with Respond, maybe a letter writing product..
I think this is like anything else, the best product that you can spend your money on, is the one you will use!
I heard advantage xi is the best from many people. anyone using it in san diego
