Carlsbad, like many other communities, will be celebrating an annual Oktoberfest on October 4, 2008. This annual event, the 26th, will be held at the Holiday Park at the intersection of Pio Pico and Chestnut just east and south of downtown Carlsbad Village.
The event, sponsored by the Carlsbad Rotary Club, will run from 1 pm until 10 pm with a wide range of events - pumpkin decorating and face painting, to name a few, and of course the requisite German food, music and dancing.
