Fort Myers Beach is seeing a slight increase of 46% for sold single homes or 19 homes sold instead of 13 homes
sold for the period of  May 30th to September 28th from 2007 to 2008. In 2007 it took 153 Days On The Market on average
 to close on a home for a total volume of just over $6 Million dollars.The average selling price during that period was about
$461,000 in 2007.
 
 
In 2008 it took 138 days to close on a property.That means 15 days less then in 2007. The average selling price in 2008
is $480,000 or $19,000 higher then in 2007.The total volume is $10,475,000 for 2008 or $4,470,000 more then in 2007.The lowest
price  sold in Fort Myers Beach in 2007 for that period was $146,000 compare to $211,000 ( caution on that number as you would
 have to compare apples to apples with a similar square footage, quality of the home et..but it is clear that Fort Myers Beach is
selling much  more and this is encouraging.

of Fort Myers Beach have realized that the deals are now. It is a very encouraging report. These numbers do not reflect these homes
 which have avery good chance to close and are now Pending. Sold is the only number that really counts. For a list of active properties

Thank you.Its something. The condo report should be even better.That does not include pending and contigent numbers.The number which was the most incouraging is probably the days on the market.138 days is much better.
