The Sun Always Rises

Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty 0575737

Mountain SunriseI wrote a post a long time ago that the sky was not falling with the problems in the housing market. In the feeble attempts to iron out the current "bailout" bill for banks and lending institutions I think I need to go back to my well grounded self and serve up the reminder that

Think that you are hiking early in the morning near this lake by these mountains. The brilliance of the sunrise makes the still lake reflect the peaks into the water.

Do not let the talking heads of the day add to your anxiety. Note nature. It does not worry. Worry does not add a single hour or single day more to your life. Take yourself to a place of calm. Everything will work out just fine. Even using words like "crisis" are bad leadership words. It gets to be a snowball effect with then next people using works like "panic." You only can control what is in your control. Whatever man does or does not do, the world will still be here. Change is inevitable, both good and bad in life.

But, THE SUN ALWAYS RISES, issuing in a new day. Full of possibilities for you. Full of new dreams to be made. Do not fret. Life is more than just money. Much, much more.

Gary ~ Anxiety-ridden person that I am, I am surprisingly calm.  Realistically, there is not much we can do right now; the stocks will be held, the money will stay in the bank and I am thankful that my husband and I have jobs, my kids can go to college, we can pay our bills, and we are all healthy.

Gary Your point is well taken, but I disagree with the "choclatiers" - it has to be dark chocolate to unlock life's mysteries and put the universe in balance,  Karen

Gary, last night I read the blog here on AR something about  " ****Important****. taking your money out of the bank, protect yourself, etc. and then dreamt I couldn't get any money today.

But this morning in the few minutes before I opened my eyes to wake up, I realized it was a beautiful day, my family was safe and healty, and we had food in the refrigerator. No need to panic, everything will work out, and today it did.

Such a wonderful outlook and chocolate is king. A beautiful picture too and sunsets and sunrises are always a great retreat. But being from texas you ought to remember the Alamo. John West turned to Davey Crokett and said in two days we will be fishing and hunting, then 4 days later the Alamo fell.

During these trying times it's nice to read about what really ought to be important to us daily. What we ought to think about and focus on. That the sun always rises.

I arose this morning to a gray misty day and yet the only reason there is light outside is because the sun is just behind the clouds.   The sun always shines even if we don't see it clearly, you have reminded us that it's always there no matter what.

The sky hasn't fallen yet.   Thanks again for touching so many of us with this post.

Gary, I have been on a news fast for quite some time. I look out my window and the sun still shines every day and the birds still sing, I'm still able to get out of bed without aches or pains, I have family and friends, what more can I ask for? Everything will get straightened out as it is supposed to. I'm just going to go about things in my day as normal.

I really enjoyed this post.  It's true.  With all that goes on around us it's a wonder we go outside & the sun is still shining.  Same as everyday.  Sometimes I expect wtih all the gloom & doom around us for the sky to match it.  SO glad it doesn't.  KM

Hello Gary... Here I am again happy and eager to get my hands on your beautiful blog. This post is speaking to my heart. Indeed THE SUN ALWAYS RISES it is my latest life lesson... "Worry does not add a single hour or single day more to your life. Take yourself to a place of calm. Everything will work out just fine".

I forgot how powerful your messages can be... Thank you for that.

You said it. Money is such a small part of true happiness. Just like your reference of the sun, the economy will rise again. And not because figure heads believe they're the answer.
