Yuba County Has Highest Median Income Gain For California

Personal income according to the State of California Franchise Tax Board in Yuba County grew the most for any county in the state. Yuba County's median income gain in 2005 was 9.4% over 2004 levels which is the largest gain in the state. Joint tax returns had an even larger leap of 11.3% over 2004's. Yuba County's median income still falls short in the 56 counties of California Yuba is ranked at 38th. This is a major jump for the resident's of Yuba County do to the income levels that are now fueling the fastest growing county in the state with over 7% gain in the last 6 years according to the Census Department of the United States.
