If you have not enjoyed at least one of the events of this years Fall Festival Of The Arts your opportunities are beginning to narrow. This weeks line up includes:

Ongoing

Sculpture Symposium daily till the 9th - in Centennial Park Watch the sculpture take form before your eyes.

If you missed the studio tour this is a great opportunity to see three of artist at work. Fly Freeman, Gerd Uterman,and Wynn Walters will carve in wood using trees from Uxbridge that were cut down for safety reasons.

Juried Art Show daily till the 5th -  Uxbridge township Council Chambers

with paintings,sculpture,photography and more on display along with the Children's Art Show showcasing what some of our talented public school children are capable of (hours 10am to 6pm free).

 

This Week

The Roxy Short Film Festival Wed. Oct 1st 2008 at Bpm doors open at 7:30 at the Roxy Theater -

Don't miss this opportunity to view prize winning short films from the Toronto World Wide Short Film Festival, with directors, producers and actors present to discuss their art.

Fridays At The Foster Fri. Oct 3rd 2008 at the Foster Memorial

Lawrence Cotton brings his professional opera and theater experience in a program of vocal favourites.

Saturday Morning Cartoons sat Oct 4th 9am show 9:30am at the Roxy

The revival of an old Saturday morning tradition with classic and new cartoons tickets $3.00 at the door.

Saturday Lunch Hour Concerts Sat Oct 4th 12:30 pm at St Pauls Anglican Church.

Broadway In Uxbridge with David Greene Big Guy Big Voice - presents Broadway favourites for bass- baritone.

Maggi and Gareth Anderson 11 year old twins - she belts out Broadway and he plays a mean piano.
