Rewards of the Job - A Montana Hunting Property Dream Comes True

Kevin recently had the opportunity to spend some time with a client from South Carolina we have been working with for over a year to buy a Western Montana hunting property. We had looked at properties from Helena to Deborgia and finally found a great piece off Hwy 200 near Potomac that he ended up purchasing.

Kevin and our client are both bowhunters so he was excited to find out that this year, Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks offered over-the-counter elk and deer tags to non-residents. He was able to schedule a trip out here in mid-September and invited me to hunt with him on his property, an invitation which I eagerly accepted.

Unfortunately they ended up hunting during a full moon and 80+ degree temperatures in the afternoon. They didn't get into any elk and with the lack of elk in the area, the camp's deer target had a pretty rough time of it providing us with much needed apre-hike therapy. The photo to the right is our client with their "therapist".

The opportunity to come away from a transaction with a friend, hunting partner and memories to last a lifetime is something we will cherish forever.
