Mortgage Companies--Outwit, Outsmart, Outplay Survivors (Sometimes)

As promised, here's a blog about mortgage lenders.  With problems in the current economy, and actually since 2006, some lenders have closed their doors.  Others have merged and are continuing to merge/be bought out.  Having said that, there is a website, www.ml-implode.com, that will provide information about which lenders are still afloat.  It's considered a controversial website, so bear that in mind when going there.  I just wanted to share this with you since it does provide some hopefully valuable information.  Next?  What's happening in the housing market, especially in the Dallas area.
