I get asked many times what works to get Home Buyers and Sellers in Victoria BC. I can tell you I get a lot of attention from Both Victoria and out of town home Buyers and Sellers, nobody in my area is Blogging their Real Estate with the Success I'm getting by Blogging here in the Rain. It takes a while, people watch you and follow you, and soon see you are the area online expert to Sell and Buy Real Estate.
Also Do Niche Blogging for your Favorite Real Estate Market in your area, Like Luxury homes, Condos, waterfront properties, New Homes, etc
Here's a Great Example...Last Spring I received a Page from a Home Seller to come and list his home. They were unhappy with their Realtor, I thought oh boy, here's a Seller Blaming a Realtor for not selling his home. I quickly searched the home on the local MLS system to find it had only been on the market 14 days!!
I returned the call and arranged to meet with the Sellers and advise them I would be limited about we talked about until they were no long under Contract with another Real Estate Firm.
To Make a long story short...they had listed their home For Sale and their Realtor Left for Holidays the Next day...leaving it in the hands of other Realtors in his office. The Seller sensed something was wrong when their was limited Showings and his Realtor was not returning his calls...he never told them he was going on Holidays!
The Seller Wanted his home Sold, so they did a Google Search for a Realtor in their area of town and they quickly found me all over the page of Google, they then called me, Once they had canceled their listing and listed with me, I quickly Blogged a detailed post on Active Rain about this charming 1912 Heritage home and soon was positioned in Google.
I' m consistently get asked by fellow Realtors "how do I get such good position in the search engines and under so many Victoria real estate search terms"...I tell them about my Blogging and I soon get the deer in the headlight look and they say I do not have time for that....Well Gary Keller just wrote a book called Shift, his advise in his new book...dump what's not working, and cut back on expenses. AR costs me only my time and experience I put into my online marketing here.
Victoria home Sellers Call me because of my marketing presence online...and get realy excuited when I show them my Blogs on AR and my Blogs in Google, then hear about my successful results. Folks I Sell Real Estate ....Blogging.
