The 2008 fall Taste of Newnan was held on Thursday October 2, 2008. The downtown square was alive with food aficionados who were there to sample the fare of Newnan and Coweta County's finest eateries!
Hosted by MainStreet Newnan, the fundraising event is designed to let local restaurateurs purvey their culinary creations to a mass mob of sweet and savory sampling citizens.
This year's event did not disappoint, with menu items ranging from smoked duck sausage to barbecued ribs to pizza! Add to that every kind of sweet treat imaginable and you have a food fair that is second to none.
And there was music, courtesy of live bands on each side of the square. The music kept the crowd rocking as they indulged in the best of Coweta Cuisine!
A Taste of Newnan is held every year in both the spring and fall, and has become one of the most popular regular events in the county. It is one of the many reasons that make Coweta County a great place to live and work.
