Capital Gain Tax

By
Real Estate Agent with North Pointe Realty

I have had several of my clients asking what changes would be made to the Capital Gain Tax

in the new bail out plan.

I have searched the internet but can't find any information.

They are wondering if it will effect the change set to go in place in Jan.

If you have any information on this that I could pass along please relpy.

Thank you so much to Active Rain giving us a place to help each other

and learn for ourselves and our clients.

Bail out has no effect on capital gains taxes.  Those may be changed by congress depending on who is elected.  So if you haven't voted and don't want higher capital gains I suggest carefully looking at the plans laid out on Obama and McCains web sites.

Obama is saying that he will eliminate capital gains taxes on small businesses if elected * FYI - there is NO such thing....small businesses do not pay capital gains taxes.

Kudos to the Realtor in Wisconson who asked question at McCain rally a few days ago!!!
