- Get pre-approved - talk to different lending institutions and choose the best program for your needs; this will also help you and your realtor to find homes in the correct price range for your budget
- Have money set aside to cover costs involved in the purchase - i.e. down payment, earnest money, inspections, insurance, etc.
A small amount of preparation can make the buying experience much easier, and less stressful. So get ready, and then get shopping!
